Kevin "Hollywood" Reed

Hollywood has been the head coach for St. Louis Park since 2007.  Prior to Saint Louis Park he coached the Hopkins Royals and the University of St. Thomas. 

Hollywood played attack for the University of St. Thomas and played Midfield for the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers.

Hollywood played his High School Lacrosse for Hopkins where they won a State Championship in 1998.

Andrew Peschong

Andrew has been coaching at St. Louis Park since 2007. Prior to coaching St. Louis Park, he was a starting defenseman for 4 years at the University of St. Thomas and won a State Championship with Hopkins High School in 1997. While at the University of St. Thomas, Andrew was the president of the lacrosse team.   
Andrew develops and implements St. Louis Park’s defensive packages.

Dave Dodds

Dave is has been coaching St. Louis Park since 2007, prior to that he was coaching in the Hopkins program.  Dave is St. Louis Park's Junior Varsity Head Coach and the program's goalie coach.  Dave is an accomplished goalie with both field and box lacrosse experience.   

Dave also has the distinction of being the team's emotional sage and shaman.  He is a devote Canadian and carries a deep breath of historical knowledge from his motherland. 

 

Kyle Johnson

Kyle returns to St. Louis Park this year as our 9th and 10th grade coach.  Kyle played for Park in both 2008 and 2009 .  Kyle was a team Captain in 2009 and was named the St. Louis Park 2009 Most Valuable Player.  His fast paced style and hustle are attributes that we will look to have him instill in this years team.  Kyle is currently playing Junior Hockey for the Minnesota Owls. 

Nick Jonas

Nick joins the coaching staff this year after playing for St. Louis Park for 3 years.  Nick was an All Conference Defensemen for the Orioles in 2009 and team Captain.  Know as "Freight" to Oriole Nation,  he is now continuing his lacrosse career as an Attackman for the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers.  Nick was part of the 2008 Championship Team.

Nick will be the Head Coach for St. Louis Park's 7th and 8th grade team.

Mark Hellenack

Mark comes to St. Louis Park from St. Johns University.  Mark has been coaching lacrosse for over 25 years at almost every level. He grew up in suburban Aberdeen NJ (near the Jersey shore) and played collegiate lacrosse at Kean University in Union NJ.

After graduating in 1983 Mark coached club, college and high school lacrosse, officiated high school and youth games, ran clinics, leagues, tournaments, All-Star games, camps and started the NJ Chapter of USLacrosse (back then it was called the Lacrosse Foundation).
 
Mark was the Lacrosse man of the year in 1983 and inducted into the NJ Chapter Hall of Fame in November of 2004.
 
In 1992 Mark moved to Minnesota with a job transfer and started youth and high school lacrosse leagues (MBSLA) and the MN Chapter of US Lacrosse (MLA). His last coaching stint was from 2003 to 2008 (6 seasons) as head coach at St. John's University where he achieved a record of 70-23 with numerous UMLL titles and two 2nd place finishes at Nationals. Prior to St John's, Mark coached at Hopkins H.S. from 97 to 2002, winning two state championships in '97 and '98.
