2021 Spring & Summer Registration

Spring and Summer lacrosse is finally upon us, and we're excited to once again offer boys (6 to 13 years old) and girls (6 to 14 years old) a chance to get back on the field!

Frequently Asked Questions

Below are some of the most often asked questions and answers related to the registration process.  Should you have others, please contact John Grimm via email or at 612/382-1934.

What level/team should I register my child for?

  • In order to determine the level/team to register your child/children, refer to the US Lacrosse age guide

Where are practices held?

  • April through early May, we will practice on turf at the ROC
  • For the remainder of the Spring &Summer seasons, practices will be held at the SLP Middle School fields

When are practices held?

  • For all 8U, 10U & 14U teams, practices run 6:00 to 7:30 pm Monday and Thursday evenings
  • For 12U teams, practices will run as follows on Monday and Thursday evenings:
    • April through early May: 7:15 to 8:30 pm (due to space limitations at the ROC)
    • The remainder of Spring & Summer: 6:00 to 7:30 pm 
  • Schedule may change based on player availability and other factors

When are games?

  • Spring: Monday through Thursday weeknight and Saturday games
  • Summer: Monday through Thursday weeknight games
  • Tournaments: Games generally held on Saturdays & Sundays (Friday evening possible, though less likely)
  • Maximum of 3 tournaments for any team
  • No tournaments for 8U Girls

*8U Girls have a single May/June season.

Are there other costs in addition to registration?

  • All registered players must also be registered with US Lacrosse.  This registration includes a $30 fee. The registration offers many member benefits, including education and insurance coverage.
  • Each child must participate in our fundraiser and raise a minimum amount. There is no cost to the player as long as the fundraising minimum is met.
  • There is no added uniform expense. Uniforms are included in the registration fee. Uniforms are the property of the association and are to be returned at the end of the season otherwise a fee will be collected.
