8U Girls Team

The 8U girls team has one season that runs from May-July.

Hi! My name is Sam Kuehn and this is my 3rd year coaching Girls 8U. I am originally from Columbus, OH where I played D1 varsity lacrosse for my hometown of Upper Arlington, following a year playing club for the University of Kentucky. I love coaching 8U because my background is early learning childhood development. I currently teach at St. Louis Park Early Learning program as a 4’s paraprofessional. I have 3 kids, Carter (13), K.C. (8), and Lily (5), all who play within the association. My goal this year is to teach the girls basic fundamentals and skill while learning to love the game!

Hi everyone!! I am Lilly, and this will be my third year coaching with the youth association. I am currently a Senior at SLP High School, and play on the Varsity team at SLP! I first picked up a stick when I was 6 years old, and fell in love with lacrosse immediately. This is also my 12th year playing, and I couldn't be more excited for the Spring and Summer seasons ahead! I am looking forward to working with your daughter, and helping her to grow as a player and person! Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions, or if there is anything you would like me to know! I would love to make this the best season for your daughter, and also your family. I can't wait to meet you all, and get working with the girls!

Hi! My name is Madeline Anklam and I'm a senior on the high school girl's varsity lacrosse team this year. This is my second year coaching youth lacrosse and I'm so excited to be involved! I've been playing lacrosse for about 8 years, mostly as an attacker and midfielder. I've made so many friends and great memories through this program and I hope to make this season a great experience for all of your daughters! When I'm not playing lacrosse, I'll probably be playing tennis (I'm also on the high school tennis team!), eating Punch Pizza by the lake or watching movies with friends. I'm really looking forward to this season!

Hi! My name is Norah Robertson. I’ve been playing lacrosse since 8th grade. My favorite position is defense. This is my second year coaching the girls 8u team and I’m super excited for this season!

10U Girls Team

The 10U girls team has one season that runs from late April-July.

Coach Ally is in her third year of coaching 10U at St. Louis Park. She started playing lacrosse in middle school for various teams within Dakota County before Farmington had a sanctioned team of their own. Ally continued to play lacrosse through college for Iowa State University's D1 Club Team where they attended Nationals two years in a row. Off the lacrosse field, Ally works as a Financial Analyst within the Consumer Packaged Goods Industry and enjoys traveling to National Parks, being outside in all the seasons Minnesota has to offer, and going to weekly trivia with friends.

My name is Carina Otos, I have ben playing lacrosse since 3rd grade and been playing goalie since 5th. I play goalie for SLP high school, and I am so exited to coach your girls in the sport that I love.

Hi! My name is Ashley Berry and I am excited to be a coach this year. I am a Sophomore at St Louis Park High School where I play for the Girls Lacrosse Team. I also play year-round with my traveling club team. I started playing lacrosse in 5th Grade thanks to my friend Carina Otos. I have played attack, midfield and draw specialist but my passion is defender. When I am not playing lacrosse I am a team manager for the High School Varsity Football Team and the High School Boys Basketball Team. I am passionate about Gopher Football (ski-u-mah). I also love to read, pet every dog I see and am a huge fan of puzzles.

12U Girls Team

The 12U girls team has one season that runs from April-July

Coach Ari returns in 2024 for her twelfth year with St. Louis Park Youth Lacrosse as head coach for the 12U Girls Team. Before coaching at St Louis Park, Ari spent 3 years coaching 12U teams in Connecticut. In high school, Ari played lacrosse for the St Louis Park Orioles and in college for the University of Michigan Wolverines. When she is not on the field, Arianna can be found at Target Headquarters where she works, and enjoying the outdoors with her two dogs, Bart and Pete. Arianna is incredibly excited to be coaching our phenomenal 5th & 6th grade team this season where she is focused on helping every member of the team develop and grow as an awesome human (as well as lacrosse player).

Coach Mac has been coaching 12U at SLP one year less than Coach Ari. Which makes sense, because Ari convinced Mac to start playing lacrosse when they were in high school at SLP (lesson learned - Ari is full of great ideas that lead to long-lasting passions and friendships). Mac continued playing lax at The University of Iowa, then countless summers of post-collegiate leagues. When not on the sidelines Mac plays lots of other sports, adventures with her dog Hugo and cheers on her niece and nephew in their SLP activities. Mac works in Brand Management at General Mills.

I'm a former lacrosse goalie who played at the University of Minnesota and fell in love with the sport there. I recently coached the Blake High School Boys teams from 2017 - 2022. My favorite lacrosse moments are any time I get to watch my daughter Payton (11) and son Kaden (9) play. I'm looking forward to working with the 12U girls team this summer and making sure they have a fun and memorable experience!

Hi Players and Families! My name is Meg Ridgway, and I am one of the senior captains of the HS Girls Lacrosse Team! This will be my third year coaching for the youth association, and I have loved every minute of it and am so SO excited for this year! I have been playing lacrosse for 10 years, and it is my favorite thing to do. I will be playing Division 2 lacrosse next year at Malone University in Ohio, but don't worry, I still hope to come back and coach. Besides playing lacrosse, I love to spend time with friends and family, be outside, and try new foods! I am looking forward to seeing every returning player this spring season, as well as hopefully some new faces! Go Park!

Hi there! My name is Margaux Pollock and I am one of the Captains of the HS Team! This will be my second year coaching for the youth association and I am so excited to see what the future holds for these girls! Being a leader is an honor for me, and I will help be a great role model for your daughters! After winning back to back state championships with the 10u girls last season, I am back and ready for more! I have been playing lacrosse for 10 years now and have loved it ever since! I have met some of my very best friends through this association, and I know that SLP Lacrosse has helped me create those lifelong friendships. When I am not playing lacrosse, I spend most of my time working as a snowboard coach in the winter, playing tennis, running, eating acai bowls and spending time with friends! I look forward to a season filled with individual and team success, along with lots of smiles, laughs, and fun! Go Park!
